2017 Flake Out Festival and Winter Parade planned for February 25

The Dennison Lions Club is planning the 2017 Flake Out Festival & Winter Parade for Saturday, February 25, 2017. The club is holding a raffle in conjunction with the days events to raise funds to support Lions Clubs activities and help support other area non-profit entities and those in need that the club donates to and supports throughout the year. Returning this year will be the poker run and Euchre at City Hall at noon. The Lions Club will be hosting a Wine & Canvas Painting event at City Hall from 3-5 pm. There will Wine and Beer available for purchase during the event along with a tasting of local and regional wines. The Annual Lighted Parade will take place at 6:30, and Lions member Duwain Egland reminds everyone that anyone can participate in the parade. Another returning favorite will be the Minute To Win It game at City Hall at 7 PM, with several local Fire Departments participating in the event to help raise funds for their local departments. The event will be hosted by KYMN RADIO/ 95.1 THE ONE Morning Host Jeff Johnson. The night will wrap up with Live Music at Fireside with The Devney Brothers starting around 8 pm, and the Raffle Winners will be announced at about 10 PM at Fireside. As with all Lions Club events, volunteers are always welcome and needed to help host these fun community events.
