Norma Lee Harmon

Norma Lee Harmon, age 74 of rural Dennison, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 22, 2017, in Rochester, Minnesota.

Norma Lee Harmon was born January 14, 1943, in Plum City, Wisconsin, to Leo and Dorothy (Traynor] Harmon. She was raised on the family farm near Arkansaw, Wisconsin, and attended country school. She graduated from Arkansaw High School in 1961 and attended Eau Claire Technical Institute for Business Office Procedures. Following her education, she worked for Northwest Airlines.

In 1963, Lee married David Schlosser. After marriage, they lived in Minneapolis. In 1976, they moved to Webster, Minnesota, and Lee worked for the Northfield school district. In 1983, they moved to Maple Plain. In 1986 Lee and David divorced. Following the divorce Lee moved to Northfield and worked as a realtor. She worked for Dayton’s, Unisys, and Delta Airlines until retiring in 2008.

Lee enjoyed refinishing antiques, gardening and visiting her daughter Barbara at Laura Baker. She was independent, strong willed, and she will be missed.

Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl (Dan) Johnson of Shakopee, Barbara Schlosser of Northfield; 2 grandchildren, Alex and Sophia; her brother, Doug Harmon of Bloomington; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Terry Harmon.

Visitation was held from 4-7PM on Friday, May 26, 2017, at the Bierman Funeral Home in Northfield.
