Justin Underdahl, age 41 of Faribault, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday morning, July 31, 2024.
Justin James Underdahl was born November 2, 1982, in Northfield, Minnesota, to Kevin L. and Julie J. (Mailhot) Underdahl. He attended Northfield Schools and in 2000, graduated from Eau Claire Charter School. Following his education he began working full time with his father at Underdahl Construction. In 2006, Justin built his home in Faribault. He married Rebecca Williams in 2009. They later divorced.
Justin was a man of varied interests, many talents, and a good storyteller. He enjoyed playing softball, collecting agates, fishing, hunting, searching for morel mushrooms, and anything outdoors. He would accept any spice challenge, had the best pickles this side of the Cannon River and made one heck of a good maple syrup. He poured his heart into everything he did, was a natural athlete and a skilled craftsman. Above all, he was a loving father who was kind hearted and had a sweet soul. He was loved by so many and his passing has left a large void in our hearts. He will be truly missed.
Survivors include his daughters Alexa, Avalynn and Paige; his parents Kevin and Julie of Nerstrand; his grandmother Joyce Mailhot of Deerwood; his sisters Lindsay of Delray, Florida, Amber of Waconia; his nieces Madyson, Bella, Sydney and Gabby; other relates and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation was held from 4:00PM - 7:00PM on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Bierman, Benson & Langehough Funeral Home.
