This versatile unit will serve as our first-out vehicle for all fire and medical calls — carrying essential tools, medical equipment, and personnel to every type of emergency. It will also serve as our command vehicle during fire incidents, helping us stay organized and efficient on scene.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this possible — from those who contributed during our annual hog roast to the many donors, large and small, who stepped up to support our department.
A special thank you to the Taylor Family Farms Foundation, the City of Nerstrand, and Warsaw Township for their especially generous contributions toward this project.
Over the next week, our firefighters will be busy stocking and equipping the truck so it’s ready to go into service and continue serving our community with pride.
Stay tuned — we can’t wait to share more photos once it’s officially on the road!
