Workshop: Beginner Quilting Workshop

Join RCHS for our first in a series of workshops to teach and preserve traditional crafts and trades. Have you ever wanted to get into quilting but didn't know how? Marie Tuma, Anne Tuma, Jane Tuma, and Heather Hoaglund will show you how!
Participants will learn the basics of how to make a quilt by creating a 9 square "mini-quilt". You will learn how to sew the parts by hand, how they all go together, and what types of materials can be used. It's a great way to learn the skills and leave with your very own work of art!
This program is $20 for member, $25 for non-members. All materials will be provided, though participants are welcome to bring their own fabrics with designs they would like.
